Since the major announcement, Miley has already released the first two songs from her highly anticipated new album, out May 30.

Aptly named “Prelude” introduces listeners to Cyrus’ first ‘visual album,’ where every song is to be accompanied by a video. The entire visual film is to be released this June. It is produced by Miley, XYZ, and Panos Cosmatos in collaboration with Columbia Records and Live Nation, and is directed by Miley Cyrus, Jacob Bixenman, and Brendan Walter, with cinematography by Benoît Debie.

The second song, the titular “Something Beautiful,” is a soulful track that boldly features sudden rock sequences. According to Miley’s Instagram, the song “explores her deep connection to fashion showcasing an original custom design by Casey Cadwallader for the House of Mugler in the visual.”

It’s been four long years since Dua has released a full studio album. In early 2020, ‘Future Nostalgia’ became a music and cultural phenomenon. Now she’s back stronger and more optimistic than ever.

“‘Radical Optimism’ in the way that I see it is this idea of rolling with the punches… of not letting anything get you down for too long. Of always seeing the positive side of things. Of being able to grow and move forward and change your perspective regardless of what’s happening in your life,” Dua said in a recent interview with Zane Lowe for Apple Music.

After releasing the first three singles off of the album, including ‘Houdini,’ ‘Training Season,’ and ‘Illusion,’ we couldn’t wait for more. 

The flow of the whole record is also a confident statement. Starting with a clear ‘End Of An Era,’ that perhaps waves goodbye to Future Nostalgia, both sonically and lyrically. It’s no wonder Dua named the album ‘Radical Optimism,’ as almost every song sounds unapologetically happy. The perfect way to make a comparison would be to look at the album’s cover art. It brings smiles, sunshine and positivity. 

Our review: Dua Lipa’s third album is a pop album filled with overwhelming sensation of happiness. The songs are perfectly mastered to complement long, warm summer evenings – or make us eternally radient in winters. It’s a record filled with joy, and ultimately, optimism. We love it.

Fans of Desperate Housewives will immediately recognize her as the show’s Renee Perry.

Recently she took on the lead role in the West End play The Devil Wears Prada, based on the famous movie. She will play the editor-in-chief of the fictional Runway magazine, Miranda Priestly. The first musical rendition of the story features a score from Elton John. The play is set to debut in October 2024 at the Dominion Theater in London.

The disco-inspired track ‘Legs (Keep Dancing)’ shows Williams is in her best form. She even references this in the lyrics with “Still here, still standing, still kicking in fact / I’m the best I’ve ever been.” The music video for the song sees Vanessa dancing flawlessly and showing off her perfect moves in different environments.

It is a fresh addition to the music scene; definitely an unexpected but very welcome release in 2024.

Our review: Vanessa’s 2024 return marks a fresh addition to the already booming music scene. The surprise release marks her return to music, in the best way, shape and form. The choreography, tunes of the disco paired with Vanessa’s timeless style and twinkle in her eye make this an absolute dance hit for us. We love it.

As the freshest addition to the K-pop (Korean pop music) scene, the group has been taking the music industry by storm. The group name RIIZE combines two words – “rise,” symbolizing growth, and “realize,” representing achievements – which together encapsulate the idea of a team that grows as one while achieving their dreams.

So far, all of their released songs – including the debut Get a Guitar – have placed with the top 100 songs on the global Spotify and Apple Music charts. “Impossible” has so far, in its first day of release, charted as #1 on iTunes in Thailand, Vietnam and Mongolia. It is also in the top 100 iTunes chart in other countries around the world like Japan (#3), Finland (#4), Norway (#21), New Zealand (#86), Brazil (#91) and more.

The track, heavily influenced by dance music with hints of house, comes from the group’s upcoming debut ‘mini-album’ titled “Riizing,” due to be released in June 2024.

RIIZE are also embarking on a tour called the “RIIZING DAY.” It will seem them playing venues mostly in Asia, including Seoul, Tokyo, Bangkok, Manila and more. They will also play in Los Angeles and Mexico City this May.

The music video for Impossible was filmed on location in Lisbon, Portugal. It sees the band members Shotaro (쇼타로), Eunseok (은석), Sungchan (성찬), Wonbin (원빈), Sohee (소희) and Anton (앤톤) dancing around different locations, including a metro station, the beach and around the city.

Our review: The catchy new song us making us want to move and dance. The verses in Korean are perfectly paired with the English chorus, making it a guaranteed hit we can’t stop listening to. We love it.
