California has been part of Louis Vuitton’s fragrance universe for several years.
Its sunshine, ocean, endless roads and unmistakable Los Angeles energy have inspired the Maison’s Cologne Perfume Collection, created by Master Perfumer Jacques Cavallier Belletrud in collaboration with Los Angeles artist Alex Israel.
Now, that Californian journey is taking on a new form.
Alongside the six fragrances that make up Louis Vuitton’s Cologne Perfume Collection, the House and Alex Israel have introduced a remarkable limited-edition Woody Wagon, designed to hold the entire collection, as well as three colorful Travel Cases for selected fragrances.

Six fragrances inspired by California
Louis Vuitton’s Cologne Perfume Collection is made up of six fragrances, each capturing a different side of California and the West Coast.
There is Sun Song, inspired by sunshine and warm skin, Afternoon Swim, which captures the refreshing energy of the sea, and California Dream, a fragrance inspired by the colors and atmosphere of a Californian sunset.
The collection also includes Pacific Chill, On the Beach and City of Stars, moving from fresh ocean air and coastal landscapes to the lights of Los Angeles after dark.
Together, the six fragrances create a sensory journey through California, from bright mornings by the ocean to warm sunsets and nights in the city.

Louis Vuitton x Alex Israel
Alex Israel’s work has long been closely connected with Los Angeles, California and pop culture.
The artist’s collaboration with Louis Vuitton began in 2019 and has brought his colorful, playful visual world into the Maison’s fragrance universe. California remains at the heart of that creative connection.
The latest additions take the idea beyond the perfume bottles themselves and into the world of design and collectible objects.
The Woody Wagon
The most spectacular new piece is the limited-edition Colognes Woody Wagon, a miniature sculptural object inspired by the classic wood-paneled station wagons that became an icon of Californian culture.
The Woody Wagon holds all six fragrances from Louis Vuitton’s Cologne Perfume Collection: Afternoon Swim, Pacific Chill, Sun Song, California Dream, City of Stars and On the Beach.
Only 66 pieces have been created, referencing the legendary Route 66. More than 60 artisans worked on its creation, which required over 7,000 hours of craftsmanship.
Made from 219 individual elements, the Woody Wagon combines materials including mahogany wood and Louis Vuitton’s natural beige leather, turning the fragrance collection into an extraordinary collector’s piece.
Alex Israel said of the collaboration:
“I’m thrilled to continue exploring my favorite landscape, Los Angeles, on this road trip with Jacques Cavallier Belletrud and Louis Vuitton. The Woody Wagon has long embodied a certain Californian freedom: surfboard on the roof, family in the back, and the Pacific just over the next hill. In this case, the family is our six Cologne Perfumes.”

Three colorful Travel Cases
Louis Vuitton and Alex Israel have also introduced three limited-edition Travel Cases for Sun Song, California Dream and Afternoon Swim.
Made from translucent resin, the cases feature colorful gradients inspired by California’s changing light.
Sun Song is presented in warm yellow and orange tones, California Dream reflects the colors of a Californian sunset, while Afternoon Swim is dressed in shades of blue inspired by the Pacific Ocean.
Each Travel Case is limited to 100 pieces, transforming a fragrance accessory into another collectible design object.

A California journey through fragrance and design
Louis Vuitton’s Cologne Perfume Collection has always been closely connected with California, and the collaboration with Alex Israel gives that connection an even stronger visual identity.
The six fragrances capture different moments and moods, while the new Travel Cases bring those ideas into color and design. The Woody Wagon takes the concept even further, turning the complete Cologne Perfume Collection into a sculptural celebration of the California road trip.
From Sun Song and Afternoon Swim to California Dream, Pacific Chill, On the Beach and City of Stars, Louis Vuitton and Alex Israel continue to explore California through fragrance, art and imagination.
